Hi SUPERSTAR families! My name is Mrs. Cummings and I will be your 2nd grade math and science teacher. This will be my first year teaching at Imagine Andrews and I am so excited to get the school year started!
This year I plan on having the kids do as much hands-on learning as possible. We will work with various materials in math and perform many experiments in science.
I am originally from central Ohio, but have been a military spouse for over 16 years, so I have lived all over the country! I have 2 daughters, Shannon (13) and Emily (10). Both of my girls are very enthusiastic about soccer, which makes me a "soccer mom!" I have 2 big dogs at my house as well. Murphy is my German Shepherd and Ginger is my Golden Retriever. Unfortunately, both of them weigh 90+ pounds, but still think they are lap dogs! :)
I can't wait to get to know each of you and your families this year! Second grade is going to be a blast! See you soon...
